The article delves upon creative imaginations of the different landscapes of Kashmir valley as seen through the visual medium of cinema, in this case Hindi films. They offer a diversity of frames to enhance and extend the experience and emotions of the narrative.
The state of Kashmir crowns India with its ethereal beauty. Substantially documented through poetry and other artistic means, Kashmir valley has not been untouched by cinema. The scenic vale has had its fair share on celluloid and has enjoyed a greater reach to the masses through the cinematic medium. Beginning merely as an aesthetic backdrop, it has grown to become a significant chapter in the annals of Hindi films.
