These schools, especially the residential ones, often occupying large sites, have basic infrastructure and facilities of international standards including state-of-the-art classrooms, modern computer labs, international-competition sized play-fields, amphitheaters, etc. The sheer scale and standard of these schools represents the countrywide initiative to provide a better academic environments for students, faculty and the parents.
We have always welcome relevant information for the journal (news, essays, project profiles etc.) form all over India, even from abroad. As you must have observed from the last few issues, we have tried to include as much information form outside Delhi as possible. Now that we have started the project profile section, we will keep up this inclusive trend, and we ask you to support this by sending us material that you think appropriate for publication. The journal should be able to reflect the script of the profession at the national level. Its approach and expanse should not be, in any ways, be restricted to a city or region. |
